Cartagena A Cruiser’s Guide

  • Morning coffee (no charge) until we until we run out (usually 10.00am). Beer $1.50US, Local lunch $3.70. Breakfast (american style)$3.70, Sizzling Steak(Filet) $9.00. The marina provides provides facilities to boats anchored out and docked. The daily dinghy dock charge is $3.20US (for boats with 6 crew or less) which entitles you to the following.

Facilities:

  • Secure dinghy dock (24 hr security)-showers - Garbage - laundry - Water - Book exchange - Cable TV - Pool table - Recreational room where cruisers can relax - Bayside restaurant -an informal place where people can stay playing dominoes, checking on the local gossip etc.

 

 

 
  • You won't feel obliged  to move on, except for the occasional private banquet.
  • Pot luck fun and festivities laid on especially for our cruising friends.

Short Term.
  • Monohull Sailboats.
  • 35 cents (US) per foot LOA per day. Water and Electricity $US 3.00 per day. We may need to make a additional charge on the use of electrical hogs such as AC.
  • Multihull Sailboats.
  • 55 cents (US) per foot LOA per day. Water and Electricity as monohull (above plus 1us extra for cats over 35ft).
  • Motor cruisers.
  • 45 cents (US) per foot LOA per day. Water and Electricity $4.00 US per day not including the use of AC,dishwashers.waterheaters etc.

Long Term.

WE are happy to offer discounts for long stays. The prices below are given to you as a guide. Please talk to us about your plans.

  • min. 2 month stay. First month at short term rate. Subsequent month/s at LT rate, payable 1 month in advance. Water use included. Electricity metered at approx. 24 cents per KW/HR

 Note that payments are made in local currency (pesos) according to the prevailing rate of exchange.

 

Monohull sailboats

  • Length Overall. beam would be a better reflexion of dock use but evrybody is so accustomed to Loa..a difficult habit to break. WE may make some allowance for appendeges.
